Abundance seems to be a buzzword word this time of year. The most obvious way for abundance to show up in our lives is with material things… but that isn’t accessible to everyone. There are so many other ways that abundance shows up in our lives. My challenge this month is to feel gratitude for any abundance that I want to cultivate. So, let’s explore just a few ways that positive abundance may show up every day.
Health – This can be as simple as being grateful for waking up in the morning. Maybe this idea is more involved if you have had a recent health scare or are feeling particularly good in your body. Perhaps it shows up as a small win on a particularly hard health day? Having an abundance of health in your life does not necessarily mean you are a generally healthy person. Any way you can celebrate the feeling of health, those moments are definitely something to feel grateful for.
Courage – You don’t need to jump out of an airplane or climb a mountain to embody courage. Courage can show up in your life by simply recognizing for example how hard it is to get out of bed in the morning and choosing to do it anyways. Taking the space to recognize your own self-worth and feel your personal confidence is a great way to cultivate the abundance of courage.
Positivity – This is another one that seems obvious, but it is truly hard to put in practice. We all know someone who exudes positivity, and it can sometimes feel fake and overwhelming. What I am really talking about here is positivity in your own mind. Using love and compassion to turn those negative emotions that bubble to the surface into positive ones. A great example is turning away from criticism and turning towards appreciation. The more positive outlook you have on the world, the more positive energy is likely come your way.
Those are just a few of the areas and ways that I hope to recognize and appreciate positive abundance in my life as we move through this season. How does it show up for you?
