The benefits of a yoga practice for kids are vast, especially for CF kids. Yoga is one of the most highly recommended forms of exercise for people with CF of all ages, due to its focus on the breath and the body awareness it develops.
I am the mother of two young children who were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. I knew next to nothing about CF before my first child’s diagnosis. As it were, my discovery of yoga unfolded right alongside my journey as a mother to these two amazing kids I have the honor of calling my own!
